PROJEKTkompetenz.eu GmbH (PROKO) is a consultancy specialised in project development and resource mobilization with a focus on the European research framework programmes (FP6 & 7, HORIZON 2020) as well as the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT).
The way from research to innovation to market involves high capital cost. PROKO has specialised on the mobilization of various kinds of resources along the TRL scale and supports stakeholders in their endeavour to drive ideas and potentials forward.
PROKO manages calls and tendering processes in a highly competitive environment since her establishment in 2007. Bid management comprises the entire life cycle from screening the landscape to final negotiation with the European Commission and other international institutions.
At EU level PROKO develops workplans & programmes for the cooperation between RTD-driven triple helix clusters in various fields of technology with the aim (i) to coordinate RTD through analytical and strategic performance at regional & national levels, (ii) to create synergies and build sustainable partnerships between research, innovation and regional development policies, (iii) to contribute to the development of smart specialisation strategies of regions through joint RTD and innovation.
Operative measures developed and implemented by PROKO: strategic international research agendas, structured research dialogues, strategic networks of RTD in industries, mentoring and benchmarking processes on European and international level, Joint Action Plan design, knowledge transfer (workshops, conferences). The staff has gained considerable experience with social media & online project management tools.
The development of mid-to-long term strategies including IPR management to bring technologies to high technology readiness levels is key in current international research and innovation programmes. PROKO supports this process through the elaboration of market studies, business plans and commercialization strategies.
PROKO covers administrative and financial project management tasks as well as the organisation of project meetings and other events, and the elaboration and implementation of dissemination strategies. By joint management, a collegial team is formed with the technical coordinator(s) engaging to build a trustful and supportive mutual relationship.
PROKO’s network of collaboration covers industries, research and higher education institutes as well as public authorities from sectors such as Renewable Energies, Information-/Communication technologies, Transport/Logistics, and Forestry. Project partners and networks come from the entire EU, neighbouring countries such as Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine, and her networks in East Africa and China.
PROJEKTkompetenz.eu GmbH has been member of the consultancy expert pool of the FP7/HORIZON 2020 Austrian National Contact Point (FFG) since 2009. The same year PROKO became member of the GIS-Cluster Salzburg, Austria, and from 2018-2020, PROKO was member of the European Institute of Technology KIC Raw Materials.
